US Jet Fuel Supplies
The United States' jet and refined fuel exports are singlehandedly the largest source of these fuel sources for Israel. This fuel enables the Israeli Air Force's operations over Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and beyond. These fuel supplies power the aircraft that carry out bombardments, surveillance missions, and military operations that have killed thousands of civilians and destroyed critical infrastructure. The fuel is supplied to Israel under a US government agreement, whereby the Department of Defence, USA contracts commercial refineries (in this case Valero) and shipping companies (as part of contracted American-flagged commerical merchant fleet) to regularly supply these fuel sources to Israel. Millions of barrels of fuel, paid for by American tax payers have been supplied to Israel, all while private corporations and shipping companies have profited.
WHAT WE DO
GEEP has been involved in exposing the military contracts and the defence deals that funnel US taxpayer money towards the supply of jet and refined fuel to Israel. Our strategy here is two-fold: with the 'No Harbour for Genocide' campaign, we target the commercial ships that transport this fuel in different ports in the Mediterranean Sea, cutting off essential supply lines that are crucial to the continued operations of these vessels. We also link the main suppliers of this fuel- Valero Energy- in its role in supplying NATO and US DoD bases in the Mediterranean Sea and are building a strong anti-militarism campaign with anti-war groups and dockworkers in crucial locations across Spain, Italy and Greece.

Call on US lawmakers to ban jet fuel exports to Israel, on companies to refuse complicit contracts, and on port workers to exercise their right to refuse handling military-bound shipments.
American anti-war movements, climate justice organisations, and labor unions must unite to end US complicity in fuelling Israeli aggression.
